NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) ADMINISTRATION PLAN

The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) is providing notice of a public comment period for proposed revisions to the Longmont Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan.
LHA will accept written comments regarding the proposed changes during a 45-day public comment period, beginning July 10, 2026, and ending at 12:00 p.m. on August 24, 2026.

The draft Administrative Plan, including the proposed 2026 revisions, is available on the Longmont Housing Authority website at:

The Longmont Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will review the proposed Administrative Plan and may take tentative action to approve the Plan at its regular meeting on August 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., to be held at the City of Longmont Civic Center, City Council Study Session Room, 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, Colorado. The date, time, and location of the meeting are subject to change.
The public comment period will remain open until 12:00 p.m. on August 24, 2026. Any written comments received after the August 18, 2026 Board meeting, but before the close of the public comment period, will be presented to and considered by the Board of Commissioners.
If, after considering comments received during the remainder of the public comment period, the Board determines that revisions to the proposed Administrative Plan are warranted, the Board may convene a special meeting by telephone or other lawful electronic means to consider those comments and take final action on the adoption of the Administrative Plan. Any such meeting will be publicly noticed and conducted in accordance with the Colorado Open Meetings Law and all other applicable state and local requirements.
