The Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) is providing notice of a new public comment period for proposed revisions to the Longmont Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan.

LHA previously issued a Notice of Proposed Changes and provided a 45-day public comment period for proposed revisions to the Administrative Plan. Since that notice was issued, additional policy changes and guidance became available that LHA determined should also be incorporated into the proposed Administrative Plan revisions.

Rather than moving forward with approval of only the revisions included in the previous notice, LHA has decided to withdraw the previously proposed revisions from consideration at this time and issue a new notice that includes both the previously proposed changes and the additional revisions. This will provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the complete set of proposed Administrative Plan changes before the Plan is presented to the LHA Board of Commissioners for approval.

The previous public comment notice and proposed revisions will not be acted upon as previously scheduled. The proposed revisions included in this new notice replace the revisions that were included in the prior public comment notice.

LHA will accept written comments regarding the proposed changes during a new 45-day public comment period, beginning August 29, 2026, and ending at 6:00 p.m. on October 13, 2026.

The Longmont Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will review the proposed Administrative Plan and may take tentative action to approve the Plan at its regular meeting on October 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., to be held at the City of Longmont Civic Center, City Council Study Session Room, 350 Kimbark Street, Longmont, Colorado. The date, time, and location of the meeting are subject to change.
